In the summer of 2023, a simple invitation to grill burgers at a Fremont Moo game turned into something bigger. That night at Historic Moller Field, surrounded by fellow baseball fans, it became clear: this ballpark had heart, history, and potential—but it also needed help.
The rusted green scoreboard barely hung on, the stands showed their age, and the field felt more like a sandlot than the community treasure it could be. By the next season, a brand-new scoreboard stood tall, and the spark of possibility grew even brighter.
That spark led to the creation of the Fremont Area Sports Coalition (FASC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to restoring and enhancing Historic Moller Field. Working alongside the City of Fremont Parks and Recreation Department, Midland University, and the Fremont Moo, we’ve already invested more than $90,000 in improvements—but we’re just getting started.
Our mission is simple: to create a safe, vibrant, and welcoming ballpark where players, families, and fans can share the joy of America’s pastime for generations to come.
We believe: If we build it, you will come.
